then PaddleFit Pod is for you. 

PaddleFit Race Pod

Our Race Pod brings together a community of women to empower and motivate one another to go further, go faster and have more fun.  We meet weekly on Saturday mornings at Okahu Bay for a one-hour on-water training session with PaddleFit Coaches Victoria Stuart and Helen Blair.  We welcome all fitness levels, sizes, and ages.  Whether you're there for every session or can only make it along for a few, come and join a great bunch of women who like to challenge themselves, learn new skills and create lasting friendships.  Some previous paddling experience required.  Board rental available.

Spring Into Summer

Build your SUP skills, strength, fitness and speed with our fun 13-week Spring into Summer SUP Training Program, for women who want to get into stand up paddle racing or who already race.  Includes 12 group training sessions at Okahu Bay led by Coaches Helen and Victoria, and a personalised 13-week online training plan to help you prepare for both the weekly short-course SUP racing that starts in November with City Surf Series and Beach Series, as well as longer distance regional races.  Pre-requisite to Race Pod is at least one block of PaddleFit Tech classes (it's important for injury prevention not to start loading until you've got the right technique). Pre-req can be waived on case-by-case basis.

PaddleFit Tech I & II

Learning proper technique is beneficial for many reasons including increased performance, injury prevention, making SUP a core workout and enhancing your enjoyment of SUP.   Weekly PaddleFit Tech I (Beginner to Intermediate) and Tech II (Intermediate to Advanced) classes are offered in six-week blocks.  During the hour lesson you will learn proper paddling fundamentals in a fun and friendly atmosphere. No matter where you are on your SUP journey we will help you get on the path to paddling properly.

Zero to SUP Hero

Just getting started?  Master the basics and beyond with our beginner class.  For anyone new to stand up paddling, Zero to SUP Hero is a 4-week programme to teach you the fundamentals of SUP in a fun and safe environment.  Using PaddleFit drills to build skills and paddle fitness while you explore Auckland’s beautiful waterways, you'll also learn about equipment, weather, laws and safety.  Quality Starboard boards, paddles, leashes and PFDs provided.
